The seller, Wine Enthusiast, keeps changing the availability date when in all likelyhood will not be available. I have watched the information in this product's page and the availability date keeps changing.

The only issues we had were that 1) it is much darker than it's picture portrays, and 2) there was a scratch on the top when it arrived (though the wood is so dark it's not a big deal). But I would like it to be a little lighter (or more 'cherry') like it looks in the picture; it is almost black.
It is still a nice cabinet to have, but I could have been even more satisfied than I was. The price was good though, so that always helps.

Review by Anthony Devin Rensfield for Wine Butler Glass Rack - Espresso Rating: I liked this cabinet quite a bit. I bought it as a gift for my girlfriend. It is well made and easy to put together. I like the color also. The only 2 things that kept it from 5 stars were:

1. I have a few wine glasses with a base that is too big (by about a mm) to fit in the glass storage.

2. It is difficult, if not impossible, to fit 3 standard wine bottles in each of the 8 wine storage slots at the bottom of the cabinet. Some fit 3, others fit 2. It just depends on how you put them in.

Review by Jayne for Wine Butler Glass Rack - Espresso Rating: Please tell the supplier to improve the packaging even if it makes this cost more. The outer box fell apart while I was trying to unpack it. The metal hinges tore through the plastic bag causing the other screws and hardware to fly freely during shipping and some of the wood is scratched.

Part of the wine rack was unfinished so I had to flip it around and drill new holes for the magnet latch.

The top slides open but they used a plastic draw slide. Its too flimsy to hold the top steady as it slides. You have to guide the pieces yourself or it will get jammed.

If they would improve these issues, I would give this Five stars. Once the repairs are done, it really is a beautiful piece of furniture. It doesn't look as if I'd put it together.

Review by Nik for Wine Butler Glass Rack - Espresso Rating: When the item first arrived it was very poorly packed and damaged. Amazon was very good about getting me a replacement. The second package looked much better but I had to search around for all of the screws and hardware as they were loose in the box. The instructions for assembly were not clear and the parts did not fit together easily. After assembling the item I noticed that there was some residue or glue on the top of the cabinet. I do not want to have to disassemble the item and return it again so I have kept it. Overall, for the price I paid I was very dissapointed in the quality of the product. It solved my storage problem but caused more trouble than I had ever anticipated.
